Origami in daily life
The benefit of making origami comes from the opportunity to apply the concepts and techniques in everyday life.
The British Origami Society created a list of materials that you can fold, some of which are rather surprising (e.g. reptile and fish skin). I have also folded some interesting materials such as bubble wrap (not quite as fun as popping it though).
